Understanding NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, commonly called NAD+, is naturally present in the body and participates in reactions that help cells convert nutrients into usable energy.

That scientific interest does not mean intravenous or injectable NAD+ has been proven to slow aging, extend life, treat fatigue, improve cognition, or prevent disease. NAD+ therapy should be discussed as an elective specialty service, not as a cure, preventive treatment, or guaranteed pathway to energy, cognition, recovery, or longevity.
A Solterra provider will review your goals, relevant medical history, medications, previous experiences, and potential alternatives. The right recommendation may be NAD+ therapy, another service, additional evaluation, or no treatment.
Before treatment, clients should understand the proposed route, dose, treatment time, expected sensations, possible adverse effects, source of the medication, limits of current evidence, and reasons to stop or defer treatment.
The Solterra experience
NAD+ treatment can require more time and active monitoring than a conventional wellness injection or hydration infusion.
Clients will be seated comfortably while the clinical team monitors tolerance and adjusts or stops treatment when appropriate. Chest pressure, nausea, abdominal discomfort, headache, flushing, chills, shaking, fatigue, or other symptoms must be reported immediately rather than treated as something to simply push through.
A faster infusion is not necessarily a better infusion. Treatment pace will be governed by the prescribed protocol, clinical assessment, and the client’s response.
What to expect
Review health history, medications, allergies, goals, previous treatment, current symptoms, and any reasons NAD+ therapy may be inappropriate.
Discuss the route, dose, duration, evidence limitations, expected sensations, potential risks, sourcing, alternatives, and cost before proceeding.
Administer the treatment with ongoing observation, document the response, and determine whether any future treatment is appropriate.
